Snake enters CMCH premises

A five-foot-long snake had entered the premises of Coimbatore Medical College Hospital (CMCH) located in the heart of the city around 7:30 am on Friday. 
The snake was spotted near the police outpost by the patients and their caretakers. The incident has created panic among the patients. 
Alerted about the incident, one of the sanitary workers working at the hospital Tamilarasan, rushed to the spot and caught the snake. 
Patients from surrounding districts including Tirupur, Erode and Nilgiris have been visiting the hospital for treatment. More than 2,500 people were admitted as in-patients in the hospital.
