Special GramaSabha meeting held in Yercaud Panchayat

A special GramaSabha meeting was held in YercaudPanchayat under the chairmanship of President Sivasakthi.
Members to oath and the meeting took off amidst the presence of the people of the Panchayat. 
The president addressed the members and the public saying that the GramaSabha meetings were intended to encourage participatory democracy and transparency in grass root panchayat organisations. 
The public should know the schemes being planned for them, said the president.

In the interactive session, the people placed demand for drinking water facilities, road and toilets. 
Mr.Loganathan, Deputy Block Development Officer, members, Glory, Francis Arulamal, Manickam, YercaudPanchayat writer, Sivakumar, Thasildhar and officials of the Horticulture Department were among those present. Mjr. Balu, the Vice President rendered vote of thanks.
