Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College student receives NCC Commendation medal - 2021

Senior Under Officer Sajin Thomas of B.E. Civil Engineering from Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore, in the National Cadet Corps (Army Wing – SD) under the 2 (TN) Battery NCC Unit, Coimbatore Group has received the Director General NCC (DG NCC medal) Commendation medal for the year 2021.
A coveted award given to a cadet of National Cadet Corps by the DG NCC New Delhi, it was given to Sajin Thomas by Colonel C. Chandrasekhar, Commanding Officer, Senior JCO Subedar Kulwant Singh of      2 (TN) Battery NCC unit, Coimbatore Group presented the award  to Senior Under Officer Sajin Thomas by honoring him for his outstanding performance and active participation in Republic Day camp and Prime Minister rally as a parade commander at New Delhi, as well as dedication and hard work during his period in NCC. 
 

Senior Under Officer Sajin Thomas is the only one cadet in the SD Army wing to receive the above medal among the Tamilnadu, Puducherry and Andaman & Nicobar NCC Directorate. Mr.D.Lakshmi Narayanaswamy, Managing Trustee, Mr.R.Sundar, Joint Managing Trustee , SNR Sons Charitable Trust, Principal Dr.N.RAlamelu,Vice Principal Dr.P.Karrupuswamy and College Associate NCC Officer , Lt. Dr. M.Ramesh felicitated the awardee.
