St Thomas Chaldean Syrian Church Festival

 Rev Fr Kaidaran the Vicar hoisted the flag at the St Thomas Chaldean Syrian Church on last Sunday in view of the festival of the church falling on Nov 26. This is the only church in the name of the Apostle for the Chaldean Syrian Christians outside Kerala state. 
Every year the Church festival is celebrated the next Sunday after July 3rd the martyrdom of St Thomas as St Thomas day is globally observed. 
This year due to some maintenance work the festival post for Nov 26.On Saturday after the evening prayer a traditional cross procession will be conducted around the church according to Kerala Syrian Christian tradition. 
On the festival day, at 7.30 am the daily mass will be conducted at the church.Senior priest Rev Fr Sunny Koola will be the chief celebrant of the mass and Rev Fr Antony Kaidaran, Deacon Jonson Emmalty will be assisted. 
After the holy mass, a public meeting and various cultural activities will be conducted the whole day.
