Stalin chairs a meeting to eradicate drug menace

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Tuesday chaired a meeting with officials to control drug menace and to create awareness about ill-effects of using drugs among the public, at secretariat in the city.

Director General of Police (DGP) Sylendra Babu and other higher-ups attended the meeting.  During the meeting, information has revealed that decisions regarding taking stringent action against drug peddlers would be taken and on the information that a peddler from Sri Lankan had intruded into the state.
