Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Wednesday flagged off 20 mobile vegetable stores after distributing coconut saplings under Kalaignar’s all village integrated agriculture development scheme, paddy seeds after cultivation of pulses after paddy scheme and orders to provide special incentives to sugarcane farmers.

The Chief Minister also inaugurated buildings on behalf of the agriculture and farmers welfare department at the cost of Rs 15.40 crore.
As per the announcement made during the agriculture budget, Stalin handed over orders to provide special incentives worth Rs 195 per tonne to the sugarcane farmers in addition to the government-fixed price and flagged off 20 mobile vegetable stores.Ministers KN Nehru, MRK Panneerselvam and Gingee KS Masthan, chief secretary Irai Anbu, principal secretary cum commissioner of sugar directorate C Vijayaraj Kumar, commissioner of agriculture produce Samayamoorthy, agriculture department director A Annadurai, agriculture marketing and sales department director Natarajan, additional commissioner to sugar directorate Anbalagan and other officials were present at the event.
