Star Students Award Ceremony held at KASC

Star Students award ceremony was conducted under the Department of Biotechnology , Government of India, Star College Scheme of the Kongu Arts and Science College of Erode. The event was graced by the College Correspondent Thiru. K. Palanisamy who presided over the function and distributed the awards to the star students. College Principal Dr.N.Raman greeted the occasion. Under DBT Star College Scheme several activities were conducted for the students on behalf of the Star-Departments. Awards were given to the best students who benefited through the Star College Scheme. Students of Biochemistry A.S. Prem, Biotechnology S. Gomathi, Mathematics M. Manojkumar, Computer Science S. Meganathan and Physics P. Priya received the awards. Coordinator of the Star College Scheme, Associate Professor Dr. A.K. Vidya delivered the special address on DBT activities. Mr.P.Ramesh, Assistant Professor, HoD of Computer Science welcomed the gathering and Dr. S. Nagarajan, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Mathematics, proposed vote of thanks. Various Heads of the Departments, Professors and students attended the function.
