Star Summit at Saveetha Arts College gives exposure on technicalities

Saveetha College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (SCLAS) is the first Liberal Arts and Science College in Tamil Nadu to venture into Undergraduate research projects. SCLAS is affiliated to Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS) had organised its first Saveetha Transdisciplinary Annual Research Summit (STAR SUMMIT) for the Commerce, Management, Computer Science and Computer Application students.
Dr. K. Parthasarathy, Former Vice Chancellor, Tamil Nadu Open University inaugurated the event in the presence of Dr. Ramya Deepak, Director, SSE and Dr. Gunita Arun Chandhok, Principal, Saveetha College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Final year students presented their research papers through posters by applying SPSS tools and algorithms. The research presentations were reviewed by 105 reviewers from various colleges in Tamil Nadu. 
The event gave the students of the college an exposure on the technicalities of doing research projects and 7 students were given the best poster presentation awards in the valedictory function.
