Student set a New Record in Silambam

Vellalar Arts and Science College for Women, Erode, correspondent SD Chandrasekhar, president 
SS Kandasamy and principal Dr SK Jayanthi  felicitated G Tavasia, Commerce 3rd year student of the college  for attending 'Silambam World Record Event',  held at Sri Ramachandra  Medical College, 
Chennai on the occasion of India's 75th Independence Day. 

She set a world record in silambam by practising it for 1.00 hours and 16 minutes continuously. 
She also entered into the Indian Book of Records  by making a paper boat at a size of 1mm in 16 seconds.
