Suez India, a leading provider of water and wastewater solutions, marked World Disability Day at the Coimbatore Urban Resource Centre, Corporation Middle School, Big Bazaar Street. The event, organised in collaboration with Samagra Shiksha – Inclusive Education, focused on the theme "Amplifying the Leadership of Persons with Disabilities for an Inclusive and Sustainable Future."
The program brought together 25 differently-abled school children under 18 and three disabled staff members from Suez India. Chief Guest Elamurugan, Assistant Project Officer of Samagra Shiksha, and Sangram Pattanayak, Project Director of the 24x7 Drinking Water Supply Project, presided over the event.
Inspirational speeches encouraged participants to overcome challenges and aim for success. Gifts and sweets were distributed to commemorate the occasion.
Elamurugan praised Suez India for empowering individuals with disabilities and raising awareness about inclusivity. "Such initiatives inspire others to work toward a society where everyone can reach their full potential," he said.
Pattanayak reaffirmed Suez India’s commitment to inclusivity, stating, "We believe in equal opportunities for everyone, enabling them to thrive and contribute meaningfully to society."
