Electricity minister V Senthil Balaji inspected the Sungam area where the corporation has proposed to construct a storm work drain at the cost of Rs 9 crore. Coimbatore collector Sameeran, corporation mayor Kalpana Anandha Kumar, MLA Vanathi Srinivasan, corporation commissioner Prathap, former MLA Karthik, councillors Suma, Muniyammal, Abdul Katharr and other officials were present during the inspection.
