Adani Group's share value declined by 100 Billion Dollars following Hindenburg comp any' s indictment of the group's manipulation of the share market. Supreme Court is looking into petitions seeking revelation of facts regarding this matter by appointing an inquiry committed.
The Union Government accepted the Supreme Court's directive to appoint an expert commitee to examine ways to strengthen the regulations of share market. A sealed letter containing the proposals was submitted by the Union Government to the Supreme Court of India yesterday.
But the Apex Court dismissed it stating that it since full transparency is needed, it can't accept the letter in a sealed cover. The court also withheld the order regarding the appointment of the expert commitee. We will not accept any suggestions from the government on who should be in the committee. The prime minister keeps silent when there is big controversy. Let us hope for the best out come in the Supreme Court's stand on this subject.
