Swayamvaram for Diffables to be held on July 3

Erode District Differently Abled Welfare Association is going to hold a Swayamvaram function for arranging marriage for diffables' from 9 am to 3 pm at the Perundurai Sakthi Marriage Hall on July 3. Interested can participate in it, said the association district president S Durairaj.

Talking to newsmen here on Sunday, he said the association is hosting the event for 10th year in succession. Sri Geetha Bhavan Trust will arrage free marriage for the selected couples in the event at its hall at Chennai on November 20. It is going to hold the event for 11th year in succession for all couples, selected in Swayamvarams being held in 15 districts- Thuthukudi, Thiruvarur, Mannargudi, Tiruvallur, Cuddalore, Villupuram, Vellore, Madurai, Erode, Thiruvannamalai, Virudhunagar, Salem ,Trichy, Dharmapuri Coimbatore, Chennai, from May 29 to September 18.  

The Trust will give Rs 2 lakh worth 51 gifts to each couple in the marriage with 2 gram gold coin and groceries for 2 month's need. For further details contact:  99653 07944, 99651 75625, 89039 04538. 

The degree, diploma holders of diffables are eligible to get Rs 50000 with 1 sovereign gold coin and those who studied upto plus  2 can get Rs 25000 with one sovereign under the government marriage aid scheme,  he added.
