Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin turns 70

Political leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi,Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, and President Droupadi Murmu extend birthday greetings to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK president MK Stalin on Wednesday when he had turned 70 years.

Taking to Twitter, Modi said, “Birthday wishes to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin. I wish him to live a healthy long life.” President Murmu wished Stalin to get a healthy and happy life and to continue serving the country for many more years. Vice-president Jagdeep Dhankar also extended his greetings to Stalin.
 While Congress leader Sonia Gandhi has telephoned Stalin to convey her greetings, Rahul Gandhi has taken to Twitter to extend his wishes.

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, in his Twitter account, said, “Warmest birthday wishes to dear comrade Stalin. Your efforts to strengthen Kerala – Tamil Nadu bonds are deeply appreciated. Standing in defence of federalism, secularism and our mother tongues, you've won hearts across the country. Wishing you happiness, health and success.”

Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi said through his Twitter, “Wishing Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu MK Stalin good health and a long life on his 70th birthday.”  The BJP state president K Annamalai extended his birthday wish to Stalin and said that he would pray to God to give him good health to continue serving the public. PMK leader Anbumani Ramadoss wished Stalin to continue his public life.

MNM president Kamal Haasan said, “I wish the DMK president and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, who is the foremost leader and the destroyer of those who dream of suppressing Tamil Nadu, a long life.” Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundarrajan also wished Stalin on his birthday. Referring to Stalin as a brother, she said that she would pray for him to get a healthy life to continue serving the public. PMK founder Ramadoss wished the Chief Minister to live long to see his 100th year on the earth, and to fulfill the reasonable expectations of all sectors of the society. 

Veteran actor Rajinikanth wished him to lead a healthy life and to continue serving the public. Delhi Chief Minister Aravind Kejarwal said that he would pray to God to keep him healthy throughout his life. Sports minister Udhayanidhi Stalin said, “Birthday wishes to our leader and Chief Minister MK Stalin who has been indulged in public life for more than half a century.” Dravidian leader K Veeramani said,

“Birthday wishes to the leader who has reached the heights through his hard work.” Union minister L Murugan wished the Chief Minister to live a long life without any illness and to continue serving the state. Chennai city mayor Priya said, “Dravidian leader who lives in our hearts! The leader who had risen through his hard work! I wish you on your birthday.”
