Temple EO felicitated

Kumbabhishekam was performed for the ancient Balasubramania Swamy Temple of Siruvapuri village near Ponneri under the control of HR and CE  Department in 2003. After 19 years, renovation of the temple including sanctum sanctorum, laying black stone floor, construction of security fence in Thirukkulam etc. was taken up at an estimated cost of Rs.1.25 crores and Kumbabhishekam was performed on August 21.  

More than 1 lakh devotees participated in the event while temple authorities made all basic amenities for devotees  as per the instructions of HR and CE Minister PK Shekharbabu.  Many Central, State Ministers, legislators, local body representatives, top government officials attended the ceremony.  In this connection, villagers felicitated the temple executive officer.
