Textile Market records Rs 15 Cr sales

The weekly shandy in Erode Gani Textile Market is held every week from Monday night to Tuesday afternoon at PS Park, Erode. Diwali sales in the Erode textile market have been stagnant for the past few days. Hundreds of traders from different parts of Tamil Nadu bought clothes to the market ahead of Diwali festival.

Especially new textiles have been introduced which are suitable for all sections from children to adults. During the past 4 days before Diwali, the retail trade was 60 percent and sales volume was around Rs15 crore, traders said.
