Thanksgiving Day observed in Avinashilingam Institute

Thanksgiving Day was observed at Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women.
The highlight of the event is the Proficiency Prize Distribution, where 275 meritorious students were awarded for their exceptional achievements.  
The programme was presided over by the Chancellor Dr. T.S.K. Meenakshisundaram who in his presidential address emphasized the significance of gratitude and perseverance in academic and personal growth, inspiring students to carry forward the institution’s values.      Vice Chancellor Dr. V. Bharathi Harishankar presented the highlights of achievements and accolades of the institution and applauded the winners, acknowledging their hard work and dedication. The Chief Guest of the function Dr K.Kala, Vice Chancellor of Mother Theresa Women’s University, Kodaikanal addressed the student gathering expressing her homage to visionary leaders like Avinashilingam Ayya whose legacy was not power but progress. Dr Vasugi Raja, Dean-Student affairs welcomed the gathering and Dr.Nisha, Assistant Professor of Botany expressed vote of thanks.
