The DMK Government’s achievements on completing the first year

The DMK Government’s achievements on completing the first year

The actions of Chief Minister M.K Stalin who formed Government on May 7, 2021 after winning the State Assembly election has satisfied the people.
The people of Tamilnadu are all praise for the DMK Government which has completed one year of governance after defeating the AIADMK which was in power continuously for 10 years and  is in power at the centre with full strength.

After controlling the Corona pandemic which posed a threat to the new government the Chief Minister made the government take off by having efficient officials in the front row of power. The DMK’s election manifesto is being seen as its axis. While assuming charge as the Chief Minister, Stalin firmly stated that the government’s main target would be to fulfill the election promises.

Rs.4000 for Corona pandemic relief to families, free bus pass for women in government buses, free electricity connections for farmers, medical aid to masses at the door steps are some of the first schemes to be implemented. Waiver of Crop loan, Gold loan and Women self-help group loans, Rural road works, Free travel in government buses for children up to 5 years are some of the best schemes appreciated by the people.
The first three months of the DMK Government was diverted towards managing the Coronavirus pandemic impacts. The next two months was spent on managing flood damages. It is the remaining months after managing Corona and floods did the DMK Government implement successfully the above schemes. The prime challenge faced by the Tamilnadu government is lack of receipt of its financial share and aid from the Central Government. Despite these problems the State Government has overcome them the government has been performing well.

The biggest achievement of the DMK Government in its first year are the steps taken by the Chief Minister’s struggle to establish the rights of the states by opposing the Union Government without any fear. He has emerged as the first Chief Minister in the country to criticize the Union Government’s anti-federal policies and approach. Though there are a few areas where the opposition criticizes and the people look for more action including the Rs.1000 monthly dole promised to housewives, they are hopeful about the Chief Minister’s positive action in due course.

On the whole the one year governance of the DMK Government under M.K Stalin is satisfying. Let the Tamilnadu Government’s achievements continue!
