Three mistakes that changed the fate of OPS!

The Election Commission has approved Edappadi Palaniswami as AIADMK General Secretary. The Election Commission has approved the resolutions passed on the July 11, 2022 at the AIADMK general meeting. 
The Election Commission has also issued an order to allocate the double leaf symbol to the AIADMK candidate contesting in Karnataka. With this, the request of former Chief Minister O Panneerselvam (OPS) has been rejected. He has suffered a major setback.
O Panneerselvam, who was at the helm of the AIADMK, was expelled from the party. After that, he filed cases in the court and lost in that too. The Election Commission also did not accept O Panneerselvam's request. On the contrary, everything has turned out well for Edappadi Palaniswami.
How did this happen? What were the mistakes made by O. Panneerselvam? When did AIADMK face a setback in its race to capture power? Perhaps if Dharmayudham (moral fight) had not started, after Sasikala went to jail, O. Panneerselvam would have become the Chief Minister again. Sasikala would have had a great opportunity to leave like Jayalalithaa and give the post of Chief Minister to O. Panneerselvam.
Secondly, the selection of Edappadi Palaniswami as co-convenor and OPS as AIADMK convenor should have been approved by the General Assembly immediately. At that time, Edappadi Palaniswami acted tactfully and rejected the resolution in the General Assembly.
The 3rd mistake made by OPS was going to the court instead of going to the people's forum when the majority of the AIADMK executives were rejecting him. This is how political commentators see the fall of OPS. 
If OPS, after being expelled from the party, had immediately increased his support base, strengthened his leadership, stood and won the by-elections and proved himself in the Lok Sabha, the party would have come to his side. But OPS didn't do that. Instead, he put his faith in the court and filed case after case. But it is of no avail because the courts can only function within the framework of the law and the truth is that nothing has happened in favor of OPS so far.
Thus, O. Panneerselvam has suffered a setback to a large extent. All that is left to give him a hand is the people's council.The judgment of the people is the judgment of the almighty. When will OPS get that verdict?
