The Tiruppur District Collector conducted an inspection of various government schemes in the areas under Tiruppur and Avinashi Panchayat Unions on July 23. The inspection was part of an initiative to review the implementation of schemes introduced by the Chief Minister to benefit the public.
In a press release, the district collector stated, "The Chief Minister has been implementing several schemes that benefit the people since assuming power. As part of this initiative, we inspected several ongoing schemes under Tiruppur and Avinashi Panchayat Unions. We reviewed the selection process of beneficiaries for the Kalaignar Kanavu Illam scheme at Pongupalayam Adi Dravidar colony and the construction of an Anganwadi centre at Eetiveerampalayam SS Nagar, estimated at Rs. 14 lakhs."
The collector also assessed the quality of food provided to students at the Anganwadi centre in SS Nagar and engaged with the students to understand their learning experiences and challenges. The inspection was attended by General Manager (TAHDCO) Ranjit Kumar, Tahsildar Saravanan, district development officers Veluswamy and Vijayakumar, and other government officers.
