TNPWAA plea to Name Children after Tamil Words

TN Progressive Writers and Artists Association (TNPWAA) appealed to people to name babies in pure Tamil words,  instead of words mixing with other languages.In its first conference held at Gobi on Saturday, it adopted a resolution in this regard. It sought Tamil archanai in Pariyur Amman temple,  planting of  trees on both sides of Sathy-Gobi road,  and ensure land for branch library at Gobi Polavakalipalayam which was functioning in poromboke land without power supply.
