Tourism Minister K Ramachandran held a consultation meeting with the farmers, traders, tea industry owners and workers on the problems and challenges in the tea industry in the Nilgiris District, arranged by the Tea Board at the UPASI auditorium in Coonoor on Tuesday. South Indian Tea Board chairman executive director Dr M Muthukumar, Collector SP Amrith, Indcoserve chief executive officer Dr Monikarana, Ooty MLA Ganesh attended the meeting.
