Toyota's Great 4x4 X-pedition in Southern India ends with high praise

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has completed its first-ever 'Great 4x4 X-pedition' in the Southern Region of India, covering the serene locations of Hassan and Sakleshpur. The event, which began with a zonal drive in South India, is set to be held in three other regions across the country, covering North, East, and West. The 'Grand National 4x4 X-pedition' is planned towards the end of this year. TKM aims to connect enthusiasts with their sense of adventure and inspire them to push boundaries and explore new horizons. The inaugural event kicked off TKM's series of 4x4 adventure-oriented drives, featuring a convoy of 24 4x4 SUVs, including the legendary Hilux, LC300, Fortuner, and Hyryder AWD. The drive aimed to engage the passionate 4x4 community in sustainable initiatives, such as clean-up drives and tree planting, encouraging eco-driven contributions and environmental responsibility.

The event began with a flag-off in Bengaluru and covered a distance of 180 km, including a stopover at the Shettihalli Rosary Church. On day two of the X-pedition, a specially curated off-roading drive experience was held in Sakleshpur, surrounded by evergreen forests and biological diversity. The event featured 4WD tracks with various obstacles, showcasing the strengths of 4x4 SUVs and raising awareness on safe maneuvering. The event was conducted with utmost safety and proper supervision, providing an adrenaline-pumping adventure. The event also contributed to the environment by handing over certificates to participants for trees planted on their behalf by an NGO.

Toyota's first 'Great 4x4 X-pedition' was well-received by participants, allowing them to connect with 4x4 enthusiasts and create a future community. Mr.AtulSood, Vice President – Sales and Strategic Marketing, expressed his enthusiasm for the event and expressed his commitment to delivering 'Mass Happiness' by delivering unforgettable experiences.
