Training for College Students at Erode Museum

The Government Museum, located near VOC Park, started a training programme for college students on Wednesday.It has various rare objects of ancient days. 

The museum curator Jency said  the training programme for the college students began at the Museum on July 27. It will be held till August 10. 

In this training, the students are trained about maintenance of the museum and its importance in history, collecting coins, zoological objects, stone sculptures, wood sculptures and preservation methods etc.

 On the occasion of the International Tiger Day on Thursday, the importance of tigers were exhibited with photo descriptions of their characteristics, tiger population etc. 

It also included  photographs of the Sathyamangalam Tiger Reserve, she added.
