Valedictory of computer training program

The Valediction Ceremony of 3-month long free computer training to tribal  the women was held at the varsity on Sept 15. 
It was jointly organized by the Department of Computer and Information Science of the varsity, Department of Tribal Welfare, and India Seattle Chapter, USA at Eraiyur Village, Perambalur District. 
The principal investigator of the project, Mr. K. Jayaprakash welcomed. 
Prof. RM. Kathiresan, Vice-chancellor of the varsity highlighted that this is the first time that a computer training for the tribal people is being offered by a varsity. 
Dr. N. Puviarasan, Prof.& Head, Department of Computer and Information Science, and Dr. S. Karthik Kumar, Deputy Director, Internal Quality Assurance Cell, Dr. G Bharathan, Dr. SM Suresh Kumar, Dr. D. Balu, Mr. Rajasekhar, Tribal Society Coordinator, and Mrs. Swetha, Trainer, project coordinator Dr. S. P. Balamurugan spoke. 
Earlier the Organization Secretaries Dr. K. Praveena and Dr. K. Saileela made the arrangements for the program.
