Vanavarayar Institute of Agriculture celebrates Annual and Sports Day

The dean of agricultural college and research institute, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) 
N Venkatesa Palanichamy participated as chief guest in the 15th annual and sports day function of Vanavarayar institute of agriculture on Saturday. 

He spoke about the importance of agriculture and its contribution in the country’s growth. He distributed prizes to the winners of several competitions. The event was presided over by the director of the institute Kembuchetty. While the principal of the institute Kumaravadivel submitted the annual report, institute’s student councillor Krishnamoorthy delivered a welcome address. Final year student and president of student council body Tharanesh delivered the votes of thanks.
