VCET gets NAAC A+ certificate

Velalar College of Engineering and Technology (VCET), Erode, got NAAC A+ Certificate. 
NAAC officials Prof RD Sharma, former VC Noida international university, UP, Prof V Divakar Reddy, Dean Sri Venkateswara University,  Thirupathi, and Prof Barath Chowdhry, Dean, Maharashtra Institute of Technology University, Pune, visited the college on July 13,14,15, assessed the academic standard, research activities, syllabus, teaching and learning ability, innovation,library, infrastructure, students progress, leadership quality, co-ordination, management, and facilties  in the college and offered the NAAC A+ Grade (3.33 out of 4)certificate.

The team complimented the college for ensuring more placements, best performance of alumni association, giving more academic service at low cost, more pass percentage and students enrolment, and thus becoming one among the best 50 colleges in the state.In the felicitation function for getting the award, the college president SS Kandasamy, secretary SD Chandrasekar and M Yuvaraja presented the NAAC certificate to College Principal Dr M Jayaraman. IQAC coordinator Dr R Kumaravelan, Dean P Jayachandhar, administrative manager N Periyasamy attended the function.
