VCK seeks action on PMK functionary

VCK functionaries led by Erode North district secretary Eswaran submitted a petition to the Erode SP on Thursday seeking action on a PMK EC member and 3 others who entered into the house of Muthulakshmi, an arunthathiyar, of Bargur when she was alone in the house and threatened and teased her by calling her caste on Sept 23. Following her complaint police registered a case under the SC,ST prevention of atrocities Act. But, the police allowed PMK man to get bail and didn't arrest others. Meanwhile, the police tried to include her uncle in the case who was out of station at that time. We suspect that the police tried to safeguard the accused in the case. So, the SP should intervene and render justice to the affected woman, they pleaded.
