The Adani Foundation has started a community volunteer platform in Vizhinjam, Kerala to connect 1,000 people with government schemes.
This year, the Foundation has trained 46 women volunteers and aims to connect 1,000 people with government schemes with the help of these volunteers.
Anita and other community volunteers are spreading a new light of hope after getting trained by the Foundation.
With the help of these volunteers, 58 poor children of class 10 and 12 have received scholarships of Rs 3,000 to 7,500.
The Foundation is developing a leadership methodology to arm volunteers with accurate knowledge to spread awareness about the welfare schemes for women, workers, or children at the ward level. This effort will set a new direction of change in the lives of the people.
