Will Nirmala Sitharaman wipe away the sorrow?

Will Nirmala Sitharaman wipe away the sorrow?

While the central government committee that looked into the consequences of rain and floods complimented the Tamil Nadu government's activities, Minister NirmalaSitharaman suddenly made a contradicting charge that the Tamil Nadu government has not taken sufficient steps.
In an interview in Delhi, she said, ``Southern district flood effects cannot be declared as a national calamity. The Chief Minister of TamilnaduM.K.Stalin, who participated in the INDIA alliance meeting for a whole day in Delhi, met Prime Minister Modi at night in a way that it was a casual meeting on his way. He must have told the allies that he wanted to see his people, who are more important.
NirmalaSitharaman will be visiting the flood victims in Thoothukudi today in light of this circumstance. Why did she choose to examine the flood damage so belatedly?
Her choice was made for very good reasons. It is not possible to designate the flood damage in the South District a national disaster. Such a custom does not exist. According to NirmalaSitharaman, no state has made an announcement similar to this.
Her statements, the remarks she made, and the tone in which she talked during the interview drew harsh comments. It also turned into a source of irritation for those impacted by the floods in the minds of Tamil Nadu residents.
The Central Intelligence Agency has sent a significant report to Delhi. The BJP is also not happy with the interview that NirmalaSitharaman gave. It will become hostile to the central government.
It will shift against the BJP mostly in the southern districts. The BJP is making an effort to contest elections in Tuticorin and Nellai. However, it will be counterproductive for the national government to avoid going there.
It is said that Minister NirmalaSitharaman decided to go toThoothukudi after being advised by Delhi high command.
In India, politics has become unavoidable, even during floods. But massive funding is required for flood assistance in the South Districts.
It would be preferable if the Union Finance Minister visited to assess the flood damage.
Then, even if the fund requested is denied, there will still be enough to declare the matter inconsequential.
The only way NirmalaSitharaman would make up for the people of Tamilnadu's dislike of her was by giving relief efforts a larger budget than anybody had anticipated.
The truth is that she has no other option to get a place in the minds of the people of Tamil Nadu, at least with the 2024 election in mind.
Let the sorrow of the residents of South District to be wiped away.
