Will the Prime Minister grant the Chief Minister's wish ?

Will the Prime Minister grant the Chief Minister's wish ?

There is a growing demand to transfer education from public list to state list. Especially in Tamil Nadu this voice is heard a lot. The Union government cannot interfere with education if it is in the state list. If everything has to run under the union government then the state autonomy becomes questionable. And if education is on the common list, the Union government can also seek to impose a specific language and cause unnecessary problems.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin has been pushing for the demand of transferring education from the public list to the state list after examining the various after effects. He did not miss the opportunity to insist on PM Modi in person yesterday.

Speaking at the Dindigul ceremony, Chief Minister M. K. Stalin said, 'Education is a right that was given in the state list when the constitution was made. Education, which has been taken to the public list in the meantime, should be brought back to the state list,' he requested Prime Minister Modi in person while he was there.
This demand of his is getting acceptance among the public.

In the previous AIADMK regime, we have seen Prime Minister Modi being launded away by Edappadi K Palanisamy and O.Paneerselvam when they got such opportunities without talking about the demands of the state. It is commendable that Chief Minister M.K.Stalin is asserting demand for Tamil Nadu's rights.

If education remains in the general list, the state government will lose its state language and culture. So it is better to transfer education to the state list. Will the Prime Minister accept the education request of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister?
