Women's Day celebration at SRM CAS

Women Empowerment Cell of Sri Ramakrishna College  of Arts and Science for Women celebrated International Women’s Day.   Principal Dr.K.Chitra delivered a special address to the students and she highlighted that our country is still struggling to  achieve gender equity in all the disciplines and we all have to work for another 100+ years in order to attain this goal. 

Chief Guest for the event, Dr.C.G.Sripriya, Chief Executive Officer of Best Group of Companies insisted the students to pursue lifelong learning,  be confident in whatever they do and to make use of each and every opportunity.  Cash awards and certificates were distributed to winners of women’s day competitions.
