Woodcraft expo begins

A 2 week long wood carving exhibition began at the government owned Erode Poompuhar showroom on Saturday. 
The showroom manager G Saravanan said many wood crafts, paintings, jewel  boxes,  kids play toys,  dolls, Saharanpur handicrafts etc, came from various states for sales.

 
Their cost is ranging from Rs 100 to Rs 80000. 10 percent price discount will be given for all products and all credit and debit cards will be accepted without service charge. Rs 5 lakh worth woodcraft were kept in the expo and sales target is Rs 2 lakh,  he said and appealed to the people to buy the handicrafts to beautify their houses and thus help poor artisans and their skills.
