World honey bee day observed

Indian Council of Agriculture Research, Krishi Vigyan kendra, Kongunadu Arts and Science College and Marutham Bee Culture farm observed World Bee Day by conducting a workshop on the subject at the Marutham Farm at Nallampalayam, Coimbatore. KVK's home science expert Gomathi, college's Zoology Asst Prof Rajeshkumar, KVK's Manikanda Kalidas, Zoology Dept's Asst Prof Dr v Barathi explained the way to produce honey. 
V Jino, student  of the college,  selected for Central government's award for bee culture, was felicitated on the occasion.
