Yercaud Hill Village School children win three prizes in Silambam

Salem District Silambam Association and Tamil Nadu Silambam Association organized the District Level Sub-Junior Silambam Champion ship 2022-2023  at Salem Sirumalar High School.  Various school children from the Yercaud hill region participated in this competition under the leadership of coach Ram Prakash on behalf of the Yercaud Strength Silambam Training Center.

First prize Won  by Yercaud

In this, Anthony Raj's daughter Madhu from Manjakuttai area studying in 9th standard at Nagalur Government Model School, Yercaud won the first prize in the 40 kg weight category at the district level, and Ponkavian, the son of Yechumalai from Poitkadu village studying in 7th standard at Charles School, Yercaud, won the prize in the 30 kg weight category and Nazareth School in Yercaud, 9th standard. Shalini, Murthy's daughter from Murugan Nagar, Yercaud, who is studying, bagged the third prize in the 35 kg weight category.  Also, the prize-winning students and the Yerchadu Paramath Silambam Coaching Coach Ram Prakash were highly appreciated by their parents and the teachers of their school.
