Zonal Land Survey Training Centre inaugurated at Coimbatore

The Coimbatore Zonal Survey Training Centre, renovated at an estimated cost of Rs. 15 lakhs on behalf of the Land Survey Records Department, was inaugurated by the District Collector Mr. Pawankumar K. Kiriyappanavar at the Coimbatore District Collectorate.
The event was attended by the Additional Director of the Land Survey Records Department Mr. Akannapiran, District Revenue Officer Dr. M. Sharmila, Zonal Deputy Director Mr. Ko Mohan, Principal / Joint Director of the Tamil Nadu Survey Training Centre Dr. K. Mohan Kumar, Administrative Officer of the Zonal Deputy Director's Office. Mr. C. Saravanan, Assistant Director of Survey.
Later, the District Collector Mr. Pawankumar Kagiyappanavar, said at this centre, village administrative officers from the districts of Coimbatore, Nilgiris, Namakkal, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri under the Coimbatore zone will be given a month-long training on land surveying. 
The training classes will start from next Monday. Around 50 people will be trained here.
The government is taking various steps to resolve the problems of the people regarding land survey. 
The role of the department is very important. This department is in direct contact with the people every day. New technologies are used in this department in a timely manner and lands are measured. The training will be very useful to know how to fix the problems and solve it.
