City based energy storage solution provider unveils new brand

Coimbatore based energy storage solution provider Cellex Battery Systems, today launched its new ‘CELTAN’ brand today. Mr. Jose Joseph, Founder, Mr. Pramoth Madhavan, Co-Founder and Guest of Honour Commodore Balasundaram, Director CISR, Indian Navy, were present on the occasion. 
In his address, Mr. Pramoth Madhavan stated that while lead acid solutions have been there for over 2 centuries, the world is now moving towards a more efficient and greener energy storage option in the form of lithium batteries. 
He added for Cellex’s team understanding the challenges of the market, getting access to one of the most advanced battery technologies, finding a foothold in the energy space, building a solution which will put Coimbatore on the battery map of India and beyond and to be able to provide an affordable solution has been nothing short of a dream come true.
According to Mr. Pramoth Madhavan some of the salient features of the CELTAN brand include, Advanced next generation cell technology, Innovative proprietary and manufacturing process, Unmatched warranty – manufacturing, performance and life, Ultra long life ranging from 10-30 years, Performance in extreme conditions ( -40 to 60 ), High charge and discharge rate and Recyclable Green Technology.
He further said that the company is focusing on catering to the needs of different sectors such as defence, renewable energy storage, data centers, commercial and residential storage systems, EVs , telecom and infra, mining and railways. 
Commodore Balasundaram congratulated the Cellex team and wished it all the very best in the years to come. 
Earlier Mr. JoseJoseph, welcoming the gathering said that Cellex’s journey started four years ago with an idea and that over the last 2 years the company has been doing a lot of R&D to ensure that what they have for the market is actually what is required. 
Another highlight of the event was the signing of MOU between Cellex and Sparxcharge, an online platform that provides doorstep on demand charging network across the 
country.
