Karate colour belt conferment ceremony marks success

The World Japan Okinawa Karate-AIKIDO-ALL Martial Arts Association, Salem District, celebrated the achievements of its students with a grand ceremony at the Jayalakshmi Nursery and Primary School in Kannankurichi, Salem. 
The event, which included the conferment of colour belt grades and the issuance of one-year training completion certificates, drew the participation of esteemed martial arts figures and showcased the talents of dedicated students. 
Kyoshi P. Kuppuraj, the Grand Master, General Secretary, Technical Director, and Chief Examiner of the World Shotokan Karate Do-Organization India, graced the occasion with his presence, adding prestige to the 
event. 
A total of fifty students were honored with colour belt grades, while approximately one hundred students received certificates for successfully completing one year of karate training under the guidance of the World Japan Okinawa Karate-AIKIDO-ALL Martial Arts Association, Salem District. 
The ceremony was not only a recognition of the students' hard work but also a platform for them to demonstrate their skills. 
Spectators were treated to impressive feats of martial arts, including demonstrations of Sei-Kumithe Sports Karate and practical displays of basic training techniques. The excitement peaked with a showcase of show fights using shields and a thrilling tile-breaking demonstration by the karate students. 
The event, meticulously organized by Karate Masters P. Ravikumar and K. Raja, saw the presence of notable persons such as Mr. Jayakumar, the Correspondent of Jayalakshmi Nursery and Primary School, Y. Samuel, Headmaster of Government Primary School in Melur, Yercaud, and Dr. Sengodan Palani, along with social activist P. Sivakumar and Karate Master C. Murugan.
