10 year old creates world record

A 10-year-old student from Gummidipoondi did ‘Timbasana’ - a yoga posture- repeatedly 66 times in a minute and created a world record.

ES Tharangini, daughter of Elilan and Sudha from Pethikuppam village is studying Class 6 in TJS Public CBSE School in Peruvayal next to Kavaraipettai. She repeatedly held herself on a yoga posture named ‘Timbasana’ 66 times in a minute and made a world record.

 Her record was published in "India Book of Records" and "Aavamsam World Record". The school management conducted an appreciation ceremony for the student and her yoga teacher Sandhya. 

Gummidipoondi MLA and head of TJS Educational Institutions TJ Govindarajan, school correspondent
