13th Founder’s Day Celebration in City School

The 13th Founder’s Day –“Dynamix 2022”, of The Camford International School was celebrated yesterday. Dr.P.Appukutty, Chairman, P.A. Institutions, Pollachi was the Guest of Honour on the occasion. Also present on the occasion were, Mr. N.Arul Ramesh, Chairman, Mrs.Poongothai Arul Ramesh, Correspondent and Principal, Ms. PoonamSyal.

In his address, Dr.P.Appukutty said that teachers should bring out the latent talents of students and added that education is one gift , given by teachers, parents and educational institutions, which cannot be stolen or destroyed and will last a lifetime. He called upon the students to go beyond the curriculum, and think out of the box. 

Dr.P. Appukutty pointed out that mere hard work is not enough but teachers should see to it that there is also smart work from students. He further added that teachers are like sculptors who chisel the children, along with the parents, to make them a better citizen of the country and a better son or daughter of the family.

Mr. Arul Ramesh during his address stated that India is known for its culture, heritage, and civilization which is over 5000 years old and that India is multi-lingual, multi-religious and multifaceted in culture .Union in diversity is the hallmark of our nation. He further added that other nations across the world turn towards us and are amazed by our huge human resource and potential.

He mentioned that an atmosphere of curiosity has been created in the campus which facilitates the students to achieve their goals and the environment thus created is instrumental in fostering, qualities of competition, team work and healthy respect for one another.

The Principal, Mrs. PoonamSyal, had earlier presented the annual report and highlighted the various achievements of the school in academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Academic toppers were felicitated by the Guest of Honour on the occasion.An array of cultural programs performed by students was another highlight of the evening.
