3 of a same family stabbed to death at Palladam

Tirupur police are investigating the murder of three members of the same family near Palladam. 5 special teams have been formed to nab the murderers. 
Deivasikamani (78) hails from Semalai Goundampalayam village near Palladam in Tirupur district. His wife is Alamelu (75). The couple has a son and a daughter. Both are married. Son lives in Coimbatore and daughter lives in Chennimalai. The couple has a farm in the village.
For the engagement ceremony to be held today (November 29), Senthilkumar, an IT employee, has come to Goundampalayam yesterday (Thursday). Last night when he was inside the house with her mother and father, mysterious persons entered the house and killed Deivasikamani by stabbing  with a knife after attacking him with a rod. His wife Alamelu and son Senthilkumar, who went to prevent this, were also beaten to death.
In order to go to the engagement ceremony, Deivasikamani had asked Chakarkatti, a barber from that town, to come home early in the morning. He found out the bodies and informed the Avinashipalayam police. Avinashipalayam police led by Palladam DSP Suresh reached the spot and are investigating 
with the help of forensic experts and sniffer dogs.
The first phase of investigation has revealed that 8 sovereign jewelery in the house has gone missing . The bodies were taken to Tirupur Government Medical College Hospital for autopsy. 
Tirupur City Police Commissioner Lakshmi said that 5 special forces have been set up to catch the culprits. More than  one person could have committed the crime.
