305 houses in Samathuvapurams renovated

Coimbatore Collector Dr GS Sameeran said that repair works were carried out in 305 houses out of 321 houses in the Samathuvapurams at Anaimalai, Kinathukadavu, Madhukarai, SS Kulam areas in the district at a cost of Rs 1.52 Crore out of Rs 1.60 cr allotted for the work.

While inspecting the houses in a press tour at Madukarai, he said water supply works, road works, street lighting works, playground, community welfare centers, library buildings, Anganwadi building, fair shops, etc were maintained out of the fund.  The rest of the work is in progress. He personally visited and inspected the school, Anganwadi center and library in the area.
