“The difference between who you’re and who you want to be is what you do” shared Mrs.  Subha Neithilath, Technology Head - Connected Assets & Digital Twin, IOT and Digital Engineering, Tata Consultancy Services, Coimbatore in her keynote address during the 31st College Day of Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts & Science for Women  on May 12, 2022.Dr.D.Padmavathi, Vice-Principal and Head, Department of Commerce, welcomed the gathering. 

Being recently accredited by NAAC with ‘A+” Grade, Dr.K.Chitra, Principal  presented the Annual Report for the academic year 2021-2022 by bringing out the highlights and achievements of faculty and students in all aspects of curricular, co-curricular, extra-curricular, research etc. She thoughtfully conveyed her sincere gratitude to the support of the Management, faculty members, support staff, students, alumni, parents and all other stakeholders for their remarkable contributions.Sri. R.Sundar, Joint Managing Trustee, SNR Sons Charitable Trust, Coimbatore delivered the Presidential address. His concern on the environment enlightened the students about sustainability that every pillar of nation should possess. He guided the students to walk on the way of Mahatma Gandhi to focus on his saying ,”Literacy in itself is no education, literacy is not the end of education or even the beginning. By education he meant an all-round drawing out of the best in the child and body, mind and spirit.” 

The Chief Guest   Mrs. Subha Neithilath in her speech emphasised on setting the goals and the vision .She enlivened the future minds with her mantra to success “to set goals, to find opportunities and to put in hard work. She emphasised on hard work and professional growth. Awards were presented to the students for excellence in academics, star students in the passing out batches, research, extension and sports activities.  Faculty members were also recognised for research contributions in refereed, indexed journals and for receiving funding assistance from reputed funding agencies like DST, TNSCST, etc. 

Principal Dr.K.Chitra took the privilege of announcing the “ Best Outgoing Student “ for the academic year 2021-22 in the undergraduate and post graduate category and they were appreciated and honour with trophies.A spectacular cultural programme was presented by the college students. The participants exhibited their talents and they were duly awarded. 

The programme ended successfully with a vote of thanks delivered by the Chairperson of the Students Union Ms. Pooja.
