The 10th class board examinations commenced statewide in Tamil Nadu on Tuesday, with a total of 40,329 students participating in Coimbatore across 158 examination centres. Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati visited various examination centres to assess the facilities provided for the students.
Speaking to the media, the district collector mentioned that students from 526 schools are appearing for the 10th board exams across 158 examination centres in the district. Additionally, there are 11 centres responsible for distributing the question papers for the examinations. To facilitate this process, 46 officers, along with armed police officers, are overseeing the transportation of question sheets to the examination centres.
