59th PSG Trophy All India Basketball Tournament begins

PSG Sports Club has been successfully conducting an All India Basketball Tournament for Men for the past 58 years. The country's leading basketball teams take pride to participate in this prestigious tournament approved by BFI with TNBA Tournament Code AILBBT/2023-24/002.
This year, these tournaments are scheduled from 23 to 27th August 2025. Eight leading teams of the country have been selected for the tournament. In A Team Chennai Indian Bank, Bangaluru Bank of Baroda, New Delhi Indian Air Force & Coimbatore Rajalakshmi HSA and in B Team Lonawala Indian Navy, New Delhi - Indian Army, Chennai Indian Overseas Bank & Karala, Thiruvananthapuram Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB). Especially in these matches, 6 players who are playing for the Indian team are playing for their respective teams. The winning teams will be awarded cash prize as follows: Winner Rs.1, 00,000+ PSG Trophy Runners Rs. 75,000 + Trophy Third Runner Rs.50,00O Forth Runner Rs.25,000 Best player award Rs. 10,000/-
The All India Tournament will begin on the evening of 23 August 2025 at 5 pm. Entry is Free. The teams will play on league basis till 25 August 2025. The Semi-Finals & Finals will be on 26 & 27th August 2025 respectively. All the matches will be conducted at PSG Engineering College Indoor Sports Complex (Wooden Flooring).
The inaugural function is scheduled on 23 August 2024 at 5.00 pm. The Chief Guest of the function Mr. T. Balaji, Director, PSG Cancer Centre, Dr. K. Prakash, Principal, PSG Tech Guest of Honor in the presence of Dr. R. Rudhramoorthy, President, PSG Sports Club.
The final day match & prize distribution ceremony schedule on 27th August 2025 at 6.00 pm. Mr. Pavankumar G Giriappanavar, Coimbatore Dist. Collector consented to be the Chief Guest. Mr. L. Gopalakrishnan Managing Trustee PSG Institutions and Mr. G. Selvaraj, Managing Director, CRI Pumps and President, Coimbatore Dist. Basketball Association will preside over the function.
