7 HM functionaries given armed Police Security

On the occasion of  Vinayagar Chaturthi festival in Erode, 7 Hindu Munnani personalities were given armed security for 24 hours in the district. 
The festival is going to be celebrated on August 31. For this, the work of installing the idol of Vinayagar in public places is going on on behalf of the Hindu Munnani. In this case, the intelligence agencies had warned that anti-social elements might attackHindu Munnani leaders during the Vinayagar Chaturthi festival. 
 

So, armed police protection has been provided to 7 prominent Hindu Munnani District President Jagadish, District Secretary Karthi, State Vice President Shanmugasundaram, Erode West District President Guruswamy, Erode West District Secretary Nagaraj, West District Vice President Krishnasamy, and Fort Secretary Palanichami. Police will provide 24-hour security for them.
The police have said that this gun-toting police protection will continue till the end of Vinayagar Chaturthi festival
