While some professionals are worried that they won't be able to keep up with AI developments, the majority of the city's workforce are willing to embrace the shift. 74% of Chennai’s workforce admits to already using generative AI in their job. Professionals believe that AI will positively transform their careers, and they are keen to invest their freed up time in doing more creative and strategic work.
