91.87% students of Sathyabama University secured job offers

Sathyabama deemed university on Tuesday organized achievers’ day ceremony at its varsity premises in the city. The ceremony was organized to honor the outstanding students, and to showcase the academic and entrepreneurial achievements of the students.
The ceremony was presided over by the chancellor, Dr Mariazeena Johnson, president Dr Marie Johnson, vice-presidents Arul Selvan, Maria Bernadette Tamilarasi, and Maria Catherine Jayapriya. Appointment orders were distributed to successful candidates of the job placement camps.
More than 300 leading companies from various fields including information technology, software development, financial management, project management, sales, advertising, and consulting, participated in this year’s job camp. A total of 3,120 students i.e., 91.87% of them had secured a job with high salaries. 
Average annual salary of the students was Rs 5.45 lakh, and the highest salary was Rs 41.20 lakh.
Under the guidance of the University’s higher education advisory committee, 216 students will travel for higher studies in renowned educational institutions in leading countries such as the US, UK, France, Australia, Ireland, Canada, Germany, and Netherlands. Many others will continue their education in reputed universities in India as well.
New students joining the college were given certificates and encouragement. The students' efforts and the guidance of the teachers were appreciated and thanked.
The ceremony is a testament to the efforts of the university to make the dreams of the students a reality. 
It serves as a great motivation for the students to prove their talent in all fields such as the workplace, higher education, research, and entrepreneurship.
