Youth should become job providers instead of job seekers advised Vellalar College for Women Correspondent SD Chandrasekhar. Around 27 new product introduction ceremony was held today in the college on behalf of Tamil Nadu government's Start Up Tamilnadu section for entrepreneurs.
Inaugurating it, he said "Our country has a lot of industrial resources. Job opportunities can be created, so the educated youth should create new businesses/industries in our country instead of going abroad for jobs. For this, it is encouraged under the start-up and various programs of the Central and State Governments," he said.
Sivakumar, Associate Vice President of Start Up Tamilnadu Division said that the state government has announced a plan to provide a grant of Rs 10 lakh to encourage new innovations in agriculture budget.
He appealed to students to innovate palmyra climber, cassava harvestor, technology to extend shelf life of vegetables and fruits, and kits to assess the quality of them and soil condition in the fields itself. Another Associate Vice President, S Dinesh Kumar, said launched 7 start-up community groups.
Across Tamil Nadu, 75 circles would be created by March. Nambison Milk Company Managing Director Vivek Nambison, Erode Division Start Up Project Officer Sakthivel, Indian Industry Confederation Young India Erode Division President Kumaravel,TMC Youth Wing state President Yuvaraja and businessmen Deepa Muthukumaraswamy, Ramamurthy Sundaram, and Mahalingam spoke.
