Abacus competition held at SKP group of institutions

SKP group of institutions organized an abacus competition at SKP Vanitha matriculation school in the district. 
The event was presided over by the institutions’ chairman K Karunanidhi in the presence of secretary KV Arangasamy and chief administrative officer R Sakthi Krishnan.

Principal of the school Gayathri attended the event along with the principal of SKP Vanitha international school Priya Karunanidhi, and PRO Syed Zahiruddin.

Over 200 students aged between six and 15 years participated in the competition. At the event, the benefits of learning abacus, and how abacus practice will improve mathematical, and problem solving skills of children were explained.

School principals distributed awards to the winners of the competition, and all the students were issued participation certifications.
